The belief that art reflects society was not far off for the Victorians and how they depicted women. Many artists painted women in such a way as to show the societal standards and perceptions of gender, including how they shifted over time to depict the ‘New Woman.’ Join Inés Bonacossa, Collections Registrar, for this artful return of the Language of Dalnavert lecture series.
Tickets are $10 per person, $5 for members.
