Make a Donation
Did you know, you can also make a donation of securities? A donation of securities is one of the most cost-efficient ways to give charitably. CanadaHelps, our trusted partner, will process the donation of your security on our behalf. Then, a donation receipt will be issued to you for the fair market value. (The fair market value of the donated securities is dependent on the market closing price on the date of transfer.) By donating securities, the tax on the capital gains is eliminated. Artifact Donation Inquiries
If you have a historical artifact you’d like to contribute to our collection, send an email to info@dalnavertmuseum.ca. Please include photos and as much information as possible about your object. We do not accept items dropped off in-person without notice and approval and are generally unable to accept large furniture pieces. Small items from the Victorian and Edwardian eras (1837 - 1914) may be accepted on a case-by-case basis, depending on the item and the needs of the collection.
Monetary donations are also accepted by cheque or cash and can be dropped off at the museum or mailed to:

Please include your name and a return address for a tax receipt. Tax receipts are available for donations of $20 or more.
