Artists, Makers, and Other Creatives

As part of our mission to develop partnerships and programming that will make Dalnavert Museum a cultural centre for city residents, we often collaborate with local artists, makers, performers, writers, and various other creatives. On this page, you will find current partnership opportunities.

Gift Shop Consignment

Dalnavert’s gift shop stocks a variety of wares from local retailers. We aim to showcase an eclectic array of handmade goods and to support and uplift the maker community. We also love to stock our bookshelves with local authors! Dalnavert prioritizes small, local, and independant businesses and aims to represent the diversity of the community we serve amongst our gift shop vendors. Keep reading to learn more about what we’re interested in and how you can join us as a consignment vendor.

Other Opportunities

Got something else in mind? Send us an email at info@dalnavertmuseum.ca to introduce yourself. We’d love to hear what you’re up to and how you’re interested in working with us. (It makes our jobs easier if you include some samples of your work and/or a CV as relevant.)

Please note: We are a small museum. It may take us a month or more to get back to you and we may not be able to work with you at this time. BUT, once we know you exist, we can keep you in mind for future projects.

We are committed to compensating artists fairly, but we are also a non-profit. That means we usually need to apply for grants for collaborations. Please reach out to us well in advance of any proposed performances/exhibitions or other relevant dates so that we can apply for funding and/or support your application for funding.
