Junk Journal Workshop

Junk journals can be used as an artistic outlet, to capture your life, or to find an artful way to store all that ephemera you can't quite make yourself throw away. Join Dr. Vanessa Warne of Crafting Communities to learn how you can take receipts, coupons, flyers, stamps, and other 'junk' and start a junk journal of your own with this less-structured take on traditional journaling and scrapbooking. During the workshop, Dr. Warne will also share connections between contemporary junk journaling and Victorian material culture and paper crafts.

All materials are included; however, you are welcome to bring your own 'junk' if you wish.
