In September during the Thin Air Writers Festival, 4 brave souls (writers) spent the night in Dalnavert Museum charged with the task of writing a ghost story.

Now we get to hear them!

Halloween night, Joanna Graham, Jonathan Ball, Kevin Marc Fournier, and Lauren Carter return to the “scene of the crime” and will recount to us their Dalnavert inspired tales of terror.

A chapbook of the stories, printed by McNally Robinson Booksellers, will be available for sale at the event. The print run is limited to 100 individually numbered copies, all signed by the authors.

The scares start at 8pm with a walk through the house and then up into the Attic, unless to accommodate more guests, the Visitor’s Centre. The house will be open to view before the reading begins.

Back on September 21st, 2018 the above mentioned writers “slept” overnight at Dalnavert Museum. They had a light supper generously supplied by Bergmann’s On Lombard, and a breakfast supplied by Dalnavert.

They slept on air mattresses supplied by The 67th Winnipeg Scouts.
