Dress Like A Victorian

Join us at Dalnavert Museum and Visitors’ Center for an in depth discussion on Victorian fashion. The Victorian era was characterized by a continual evolution in fashion which mirrored significant cultural and technological shifts in society. Advancements such as the sewing machine transformed garment production, while social etiquette and reform movements influenced how different groups navigated the era's rigid landscape. Throughout this period, fashion was adapted to suit diverse regional needs, integrating widespread trends with the practical requirements of specific climates and daily life.
