The Twelve Days of Craft-mas: Day Twelve

On the twelfth day of craft-mas, I made this for my tree…

a cornucopia!

This last craft is extra special because it has room to hold a little treat! It’s also fun to do with kids and you can get creative with your decorating!

Difficulty: Easy

Time: 20min

Fig 1. Necessary tools

WHat you will need

  • Paper (I used old newspaper)

  • Glue stick

  • Ribbon (to decorate)

  • Scissors

  • Treats (to fill it up)

  • Ornament hooks

Instructions

Now its ready to hang on your tree!

Fig 2. My cornucopia waiting for someone to grab a treat!

What I Enjoyed

This craft was fast and simple, and I think there are a lot of ways that you could make it extra special! I love the idea of having treats hidden all over the tree, so I may make a few more next year.

That concludes our journey through the Twelve Days of Craft-mas! Thank you for joining me on this crafting excursion. What did you think? Did you try making any of them? Are there more Victorian Christmas crafts that you tried this year? Let us know on Facebook and Instagram @dalnavertmuseum ! I hope you all have a lovely holiday season and a very happy new year. See you in 2024!
