National Canadian Film Day: Night Raiders

To celebrate National Canadian Film Day (CanFilmDay), Canadians are hosting screenings of Canadian films across the country. On April 17th, come watch Danis Goulet's Night Raiders at Dalnavert. Set in a dystopian version of North America in the year 2044, Night Raiders follows Niska (Elle-Máijá Tailfeathers), a Cree woman who joins forces with a group of underground resistance fighters seeking to free their children and save their future. Night Raiders is rated PG in Manitoba.

This film contains scenes that may distress some viewers, especially those who have experienced harm, abuse, violence, and/or intergenerational trauma due to colonial practices. The National Indian Residential Schools Crisis Line is available at 1-866-925-4419.

Tickets are free. Priority entry will be given to those who have reserved tickets in advance online. If the event reaches capacity, walk-ups without reserved tickets may be denied entry.

Doors open at 6:30. There will be a cashless bar and popcorn for sale.
