Clues to our past

Tourism Manitoba has created a "clue" game for Dalnavert Museum. Come visit and learn about the people who lived here and the everyday things that they used in their home.

A National and Provincial Heritage Site, Dalnavert was built in 1895 for Sir Hugh John Macdonald and his family. The Queen Anne Revival Style home has been meticulously restored to offer a glimpse of Canada’s early years, through the lens of an affluent Winnipeg family.

An important piece of local heritage, Dalnavert Museum and Visitors’ Centre aims to promote a deeper understanding and appreciation of local heritage, arts and culture through education and community engagement.
